What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Age Childcare Staff - Fergus Falls Location position at YMCA of the Northern Sky?
Work at our Fergus Falls location with school age children, Kindergarten through 6th grade.
As a School Age Childcare Staff, you will:
- Guide the children through their daily after school routine: Welcome/Check-In, Snack Time, Homework Help, Physical Activity (Gym/Outside), Indoor Play, etc.
- Lead the children in a variety of activities, such as arts and crafts, science experiments, gym games, etc.
- Provide a healthy, emotional, social, intellectual, and physical environment that promotes active learning for each child in the program.
- Engage in positive staff-child and staff-parent interactions at all times. Maintain clear communication with the Program Managers.
- Be a professional role model for the children by presenting yourself in a confident, dignified manner.
