Export Logistics Coordinator
Location: Hazelwood Missouri
Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift
Contract: 6 months, may extend
We are hiring for two levels within Export Logistics. Both roles handle export administration, distribution activities, and daily coordination with internal teams and external partners. Work may include raw materials, finished goods, services, and reverse logistics. Candidates will be considered for the Coordinator or Senior Coordinator level based on experience.

- Senior Export Logistics Coordinator: $29.00 to $36.00/Hr.
We are hiring for two levels within Export Logistics. Both roles handle export administration, distribution activities, and daily coordination with internal teams and external partners. Work may include raw materials, finished goods, services, and reverse logistics. Candidates will be considered for the Coordinator or Senior Coordinator level based on experience.
What you will do at both levels
- Manage and coordinate export flow for assigned customers and partners while meeting accuracy, compliance, and on time delivery goals.
- Arrange transportation by land, sea, and air with approved carriers and forwarders.
- Prepare, review, and maintain required export documents with close attention to detail.
- Handle logistics complaints, investigate root cause, and help drive corrective actions.
- Monitor product availability and communicate status updates to customers and internal teams.
- Keep business stakeholders informed and aligned on priorities and timelines.
- Work with the Replenishment Planner to support inventory movement and replenishment to subsidiaries.
- Maintain basic master data related to export flows.
- Track KPIs for your area, analyze results, and support action plans to improve service and cost.
- Participate in team meetings and routine governance.
- Provide backup coverage for teammates when needed.
- Support continuous improvement by suggesting process updates that save time and reduce errors.
- Plan subsidiary capacities for finished goods to meet demand, inventory targets, and service levels.
- Review and update planning parameters in SAP or a similar planning system.
- Analyze demand for finished goods, including phase in and phase out items, and flag gaps early.
- Identify process gaps within Supply and Operations Planning and communicate recommended actions.
- Place purchase orders, follow up with suppliers, and work closely with export coordinators and inventory teams to stay on plan.
- Adjust schedules when issues arise and keep partners informed until resolution.
Coordinator level, pay range $27 to $28 per hour
- One to three years of experience in logistics, distribution, supply chain support, or an administrative role with heavy documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with documents and data.
- Clear, professional communication with customers, carriers, and internal partners.
- Ability to learn systems, follow procedures, and manage several tasks at once.
- Three or more years in export logistics, planning, or supply chain operations.
- Working knowledge of SAP or another planning tool.
- Strong analytical skills with KPIs, demand data, and planning parameters.
- Comfort managing higher complexity work with limited supervision.
