Role Description
We are currently looking to hire a dynamic analyst to join Youland. The candidate will ideally have 1-2 years of background experience in any of the following industries: mortgage credit or residential transitional loans, structured finance, capital markets, real estate firm, mortgage lender, fintech originator, investment bank, asset manager, audit/accounting or consulting firm. This role will have a heavy emphasis in the residential transitional loan sector.
Examples of Roles & Responsibilities
- Capital Markets
- Maintain relationships with takeout partners to execute whole loan trades
- Monitor and manage warehouse lines of credit to ensure sufficient capital for loan originations and ongoing operations.
- Collaborate with underwriting and origination teams to align loan products with investor requirements and market demand.
- Asset Management
- Oversee the performance of the bridge loan portfolio, ensuring timely payment and compliance with loan terms.
- Implement risk management strategies to mitigate borrower defaults and safeguard portfolio health.
- Coordinate with legal teams on foreclosure processes and resolution of distressed assets.
- Provide detailed reporting to stakeholders, including capital partners and warehouse lenders, on portfolio performance and risk exposure.
- Manage loan modifications, extensions, or restructurings to optimize recovery and preserve asset value.
