The Child Development Council of Franklin County, Inc. (CDCFC) is a nonprofit organization funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The agency operates Head Start and Early Head Start programs for income eligible children from birth to 5. The program promotes school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of education, health, mental health and nutritional services. Services are family-centered, with the premise that children develop in the context of their families and culture. Families are provided opportunities and sup...port for growth and change by identifying their own strengths, needs, interests and solutions.
