JOB DESCRIPTION: Our Nuclear Medicine Technologist: Performs both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures including general studies, cardiac studies, and the computer interactions associated with these studies. Performs clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed. Contributes to the development of policies, procedures, standards and objectives, and quality assurance needs for the provision of Nuclear Medicine services. Hours - Monday - Friday 9am-530pm, no weekends except call coverage Is required to take rotating call coverage, including evenings, weekends and holidays. More details - Call will be every 12 days. It will be 24 hours if it falls on a weekend (example - 7a Saturday through 7a Sunday) OR 14 hours if it falls on a weeknight (5p-7a). You will receive call pay for carrying a pager and overtime and shift differentials if called in. EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine. Associates or Baccalaureate Degree in Nuclear Medicine is required. Licensed by either the ARRT or CNMT in the State of Vermont. This position requires verification of your college transcript. Please be prepared to provide a copy should you be invited for an interview. EXPERIENCE: Twelve months of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine is preferred. The bonus will be paid out as a $3,333.33 gross pay adjustment following the completion of a successful 90-day orientation; the second installment of $3,333.33 will be paid upon completion of one year (2,080 hours) of service in the department hired into, and the third installment of $3,333.34 upon completion of the second year of service. Amounts reflect gross pay, prior to applicable tax withholdings and deductions required by law. Candidates joining us in a full-time Nuclear Medicine Tech position, from a distance that is greater than 50 miles from their previous role and home, are eligible for relocation assistance up to $9,200.
