See details, below!!! JOB DESCRIPTION: Each University of Vermont Medical Center Security Officer is assigned to a specific UVM Medical Center campus. The primary responsibilities of the Security Officer are to conduct patrol duties, respond immediately to calls for assistance, and document services provided on each shift. The Security Officer is expected to act in a courteous and professional manner at all times. Schedule: 2:30pm - 11:00pm, including weekend evenings EDUCATION: High School graduate or equivalent. EXPERIENCE: Prior security experience preferred. Valid drivers license and safe driving record required. External candidates are eligible for a one-time signing bonus of $5,000 (prorated for part time roles). The bonus will be paid out as a $1,000 gross pay adjustment following the completion of 15-days; the second installment of $1,000 will be paid upon the completion of a successful 90-day orientation; the third installment of $2,000 will be paid upon completion of six months; and the final installment of $1,000 will be paid upon completion of one year (2,080 hours/prorated for part time) of service in the department hired into.
