A Brighter Day Pediatrics in Nashville, TN is looking for one medical receptionist to join our 7 person strong team. We are located on 393 Wallace Rd Ste 202. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

    *Creating a customer-friendly environment *Answer phones, referring calls to physicians or triage nurses as needed *Retrieve messages from voice mail and greet patients. *Schedule/cancel patient appointments *Verify demographics and insurance information *Register and check out all patients *Collect co-payment; print receipt as needed (post charges and payments – if needed) Confirm appointment schedule *File and/or upload letters, reports, doctor notes, and triage notes *Maintain supplies of all forms and office material *Miscellaneous clerical and administrative duties as requested

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $16.00 - $17.50/hour.
