In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead strategic engagements for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software as well as multi-solution digital consulting assignments of high complexity. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in strategic initiatives to achieve regional targets. The work model for the role is: Remote This role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries division. You will be mainly accountable for: *Provides digital solution leadership for MES solutions consistently at high quality to sales, proposals and project teams *Analyzes customer requirements to ensure digital solution(s) meets objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen *Acts as a high-level technical expert, providing knowledge of MES software applications (primarily for pulp & paper) and operational environments, functional systems analysis, design, integration, and implementation advice for complex digital solution implementation *Continuously drives business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions with solutions consulting and hub digital teams; interfaces with and influences customer's senior technical and business leadership Our team dynamics You will join a dynamic and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive. This position reports to: Digital Solutions Consulting Director

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Management, Software Engineering or related technical field
• Master's degree in a technical field would be an advantage
• 7 years' experience in the OT / software industry with focus on digitalization and the Internet of Things, and deep understanding of relevant technologies and trends
• 5 years' experience in MES software implementation, consulting or sales in the pulp & paper industry
• Proven track record in customer focus, exposure to customer top management, consultative selling, driving results and turning opportunities into sales successes
• Ability to deliver complex deliverables under demanding timelines. Be flexible with changes and keep the customer focused and stay within the scope of the engagement.
• Deep Experience in the industrial software environment; process industry-specific industry exposure (industrial automation/advanced software), experience and background in pulp & paper. Experience and background in other industrial domains of mining, metals and food & beverage would be a plus.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Availability to travel extensively in NAM and occasionally across the Americas region as required
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
