Job Title: Social Worker (Early Intervention)
We are looking for an experienced candidate to join our Early Intervention team in supporting families around the South-Western Pennsylvania area! Make a difference in providing resources, counseling, and support for parents and their children.

Minimum requirements:
- MUST HAVE Master’s degree or equivalent in Social Work.
- MUST HAVE Pennsylvania Social Work License
- 1 year minimum in Early Intervention in the state of PA.
- Satisfactory ACT 33/34 as well as FBI clearances required.
Salary/rate:
$45,000 (mileage reimbursement)
Location: Main Office located in South Side. Responsible for various counties around the South-Western Pennsylvania area.
Travel:
Must be willing to provide transportation using your own personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement provided.
Position Description
Responsible for working with families who have children enrolled in the Early Intervention program. Provide families with information, support and assistance; and work closely with the therapists and Service Coordination, to ensure the child's and family's needs are clearly identified and services found to meet those needs. Reports to the Associate Director of Early Intervention.
Job Responsibilities - Highlights
- Explore family concerns, resources, and priorities and support the achievement of children and family outcomes.
- Discuss with family and other professionals the family's strengths, concerns, priorities and desired outcomes.
- Link family with appropriate services and resources as indicated on IFSP.
- Coordinate services with other agencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Maintain accurate records for a fee-for-service system and complete all necessary paperwork as required.
- Act as a referral source for inquiries regarding services for children with developmental delays and disabilities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

Qualifications
The equivalent of a Master's degree in the social service field with one or more years of related experience. Act 33/34 and FBI clearances required. Supervisory experience is helpful. Valid license to drive in the state of Pennsylvania.
