- Work closely under project managers to produce commercial site plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Subdivision design
- Visit job site to ensure construction matches design, and consult with clients.
- Could be working on 5 projects at a time, projects typically last 1-2 weeks. Would be shuffling multiple projects which are in different phases.
- Some client interaction but would work with city and government organizations to get information important for design.
- Involved in process from the initial surveying to final stages of permitting. This could take 2-3 months for small projects and 4-5 months for large project completion.

- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or similar field
- 1 years of design experience in commercial land development or site design
- Communication with clients, colleagues and fellow employees/employer
- Drainage calculations and detention calculations.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Site plan design, storm water management plans
- Understand contours, grading plans, etc.
