What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compounder position at Actalent?
Description:
2nd shift:
Monday-Friday 3:30pm-midnight
Responsible for efficiently mixing finished products and maintaining the highest possible quality standards. Blending together all of the necessary dry, wet, and refrigerated ingredients to deliver a finished product to the customer that meets their formula specifications.
Pre-shift preparation: Ensure that all surfaces with contact to the product are sanitized and ready for operation. Review and prepare next days batch sheets for the pre-weigh person. Post operation operator sanitizing as required.
Prepare product according to established formulas, while monitoring the needs of production to keep filing areas supplied with finished product. Follow batch sheet without deviation while mixing product. Any deviation must be approved. All deviations recorded on the batch adjustment sheet.
Perform deck set-up for daily schedule, operate equipment to aid in processing formulas; keep processing equipment clean and sanitized.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Mixing/blending experience (food, chemical or pharmaceuticals)
