What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compounder position at Actalent?
Description:
Compounders will be responsible for mixing and blending batches of various chemicals for the production process. This will involve following a work order/batch sheet, picking and pulling materials needed from the warehouse using a forklift and bringing to production room to mix and begin process.
Will be required to lift up to 75-100 pounds at times when loading blending machine and moving materials around. A majority of lifting will be between 25-50 pounds.
With each new batch, compounders will be required to use various hand and power tools to setup machines for new runs. Will also be required to break down and sanitize equipment between every run.
Will be working heavily with the quality assurance team to ensure blends and mixtures are up to quality standards.

Basic Math Skills
1 year of manufacturing experience preferably within an FDA, USDA or GMP industry
1 year of Blending, Compounding or Sanitation preferred
