Job Title: 1st Shift Controls Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician for a 1st shift position with a tier 1 manufacturer in Holland. This role is expected to last for 3 months, with the possibility of extension depending on workload and performance.

Hours

• 7 AM to 3 PM
• 15 hours of overtime/week
• occasional weekends

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and edit PLC equipment, specifically Allen Bradley.
• Troubleshoot and edit ABB robots.
• Ensure excellent communication and documentation of work performed.
• Understand and adhere to safety standards.
• Apply knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics in daily tasks.

Must Have Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in PLC troubleshooting and editing, specifically with Allen Bradley.
• Ability to read AutoCAD electrical schematics.
• Experience in troubleshooting ABB robots.

"Nice to have" Qualifications

• Associate's degree (preferred)
• Experience in the automotive industry (highly preferred)

Work Environment

-Fast paced environment that is pretty clean but can be noisy

-Prolonged standing at least 8 hours, but up to 12 hours per day

-Lift objects weighing up to 35 pounds multiple times per hour.

-Repetitive bending, twisting, turning, lifting.

-Repetitive use of hands, including gripping, grasping, pinching, squeezing

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
