Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Designer with hands-on experience in Creo, sheet metal design, Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and Bills of Material (BOMs). This role will play a significant part in a long term project to help our customer maximize efficiency and create simplicity in their current design processes and throughput from design to manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using PTC Creo.
• Design sheet metal parts and assemblies with a focus on manufacturability and performance.
• Generate and maintain accurate Bills of Material (BOMs) for all designs.
• Process and implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) in accordance with company procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and procurement.
• Conduct tolerance analysis and ensure designs meet applicable standards and specifications.
• Support prototype builds and resolve design-related issues during testing and production.
• Maintain design documentation and ensure version control.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Experience as an individual contributor level mechanical designer
• Proficiency in PTC Creo
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal design principles, fabrication processes, design for manufacturing, and mechanical components
• Strong knowledge of piping/tubing design principles using Creo Piping module
• Experience with ECN processes and BOM management in PLM/ERP systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Experience with Windchill or other PLM systems.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
