Job Title: CAD Drafter

Job Description

The CAD Drafter will assist technical teams of detailers, designers, and engineers to create world-class detail on a variety of projects. This position will aid in developing computer-aided drafting design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare new drawings and revise existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts.
• Adhere to company and client drafting standards and procedures.
• Follow the drafting practices of selected discipline.
• Assist in drafting design and documentation for various projects.
• Utilize standard drafting detail programs for tasks.
• Contribute to continuous drafting detail improvement efforts.
• Research and present solutions to project concerns and design problems.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Essential Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate Degree in computer-aided drafting/design preferred.
• Basic knowledge of commands in at least one CAD program, with the ability to use higher-level commands, time-saving programs, and routines occasionally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00
