Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a new graduate to gain valuable skills in the lab and professional experience with a growing food manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product and microbiology testing
• Perform computer data entry and maintenance
• Set up testing table and maintain sample retention for daily samples
• Test raw ingredients
• Resample totes (nonconforming product, experimental totes)
• Observe all GMP’s, HAACP’s, good housekeeping, and safety rules and regulations
• Complete all individual training as outlined by the training matrix or management training schedule
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor/Lab Lead

Work Environment

This position is for the 1st shift, from 7am to 3:30pm. The work environment includes working in a laboratory setting, following strict safety and quality guidelines. The lab technician will be involved in various testing and quality control processes, ensuring the safety and quality of food products.
