Job Title: Technology Designer

Job Description

A growing and leading engineering firm is seeking a Technology Designer for upcoming commercial, government, and educational projects in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have around 3 years of experience in commercial, government, and educational projects.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients and other disciplines
• Utilize AutoCAD or Revit for design tasks
• Plan and design various integrated systems in the technology sector including outside plant cabling, structured cabling, wireless networks, access control, surveillance, and intrusion systems
• Maintain client relationships
• Coordinate with project managers
• Prepare Division 27 and 28 technical specifications

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Revit or CAD
• 1 years of experience within the technology/telecom space
• Knowledge of telecommunications systems
• Understanding of security systems

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with electrical systems
• Revit/CAD proficiency
• Strong communication and client interaction skills

Work Environment

The work environment includes starting out with 2 days in the office and 3 remote days. As you stay longer with the team, there will be more opportunities for remote work. The company has a family-oriented culture, providing internal events, development courses, stock plan opportunities, and a deadline-driven but relaxed work environment. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to grow into a department head and build out the team. You will have the chance to apply your management and design expertise on exciting and challenging projects in the growing Technology and Low Voltage design department.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $90000.00/yr.

ORCA Card, Off from December 24th to January 2nd, 10 Holidays, PTO, etc
