Our non-profit client is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team on a 6 month contract basis. Ideal candidates will be empathetic, mission-oriented and will have strong experience with full-cycle recruitment.
Pay: $23-28/hr (Based on years of experience)

ain Duties & Responsibilities
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening and recommending candidates for open positions with a focus on Safety & Wellness department positions. This person will also work with Safety & Wellness leaders to manage intern and volunteer onboarding as needed. This person must understand, model and represent the employment value proposition. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will identify opportunities to build applicant pools, establish trust and partnerships with the Leaders and hiring managers, identify potential candidates, effectively administer the interviewing and onboarding process, and ensure a positive new hire experience. Developing and executing recruitment plans and strategies are primary responsibilities to ensure hiring goals are met with the best possible talent. All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA and other regulations, as appropriate.
COLLABORATES WITH: HR Manager, Program Directors; Hiring Managers, Interns and Volunteers
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Administer Clear Company ATS daily. Review candidates, communicate with managers to ensure the system workflow is updated.
• Post job openings including advertising at colleges, on social networks, and community job boards within 24 hours in receipt of requisition.
• Participate in Career Fairs and reach out to other entities to promote employment opportunities.
• Responsible for the collection of candidate’s pre-employment documents; application, resume, background check, personal and professional reference, diploma, licensure documents with verification and preparation of candidate’s offer letter.
• Responsible for the collection of intern and volunteer documents
• Support and answer hiring manager’s questions and concerns.
• Conduct quarterly trainings for hiring managers including interviewing best practices.
• Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting efforts.
• Maintain high standards of confidentiality of all employees' records and information.
• Participate in People & Culture department meetings.
• Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
