Job Title: Senior Financial .NET Developer / Architect
Location: Little Rock, AR (Hybrid – local or relocation required)
Duration: 5 Months (Contract)
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Financial .NET Developer / Architect to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level financial and budget systems. This role is responsible for maintaining application infrastructure, optimizing databases, and ensuring secure, reliable operation of financial systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong .NET architecture experience, deep SQL Server expertise, and prior financial institution or government financial system experience.
Education Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical education
Required Skills & Experience
6 years of senior-level .NET development and architecture experience
6 years designing and implementing financial and budget applications
Strong hands-on experience with:
ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET
Microsoft .NET Framework
6 years of Microsoft SQL Server experience (2008 R2, 2012, 2016)
SQL Server:
Installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance optimization
TDE (Transparent Data Encryption) design and maintenance
Experience with:
Disaster Recovery planning, design, and testing
Windows Services development
Web services development
Active Reports and/or StimulSoft reporting tools
MSDTC (Microsoft Distributed Transaction Coordinator) configuration and implementation
SSIS / Integration Services for data import and export
Proven experience developing technical infrastructure diagrams and specifications
Financial institution or government finance system experience (required)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred / Desired Skills
Knowledge of:
State and federal laws and regulations
Procurement, budgeting, payroll, and HR processes
Administrative policies and financial compliance standards
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise financial and budget systems
Maintain and optimize central application infrastructure and databases
Develop and maintain data extraction packages and structured data layouts
Support and enhance complex budget system applications
Design, implement, and test disaster recovery plans
Develop and maintain:
Windows services
Web services
SSIS data integration solutions
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to internal development teams
Assist state employees with .NET best practices and solution design
Create and maintain detailed technical architecture documentation
Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system optimization
Ensure system security, stability, and compliance with financial regulations
