DataStaff is seeking a Senior Financial .Net Developer/Architect for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in Little Rock, AR.
*This will be on-site work for a minimum of one month. Partial remote work policy is available after six months.
Responsibilities:
- Developing, maintaining and optimizing the central infrastructure, application instances and databases that are required to maintain the Budget System.
- The scope of services will also include problem resolution, analysis and other support services at the discretion of the Applications Development Manager.
- The system is developed in .Net along with StimulSoft Reporting Software.
Knowledge and Abilities:
Minimum of six to eight years of experience in each item below:
- Maintain and develop packages to extract data elements into constructed data layouts.
- Maintain complicated applications supported by Applications Development: Budget System.
- Assist state employees with .Net solutions and mentor on best practices
- Good knowledge of MSDTC
- Experience with design and maintenance of TDE Encryption
- Experience using integration services or SSIS packages to import and export data to/from SQL
- Experience developing web services
- Experience designing and testing disaster recovery plans
- Ability to write and review VB.Net code
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience developing detailed technical infrastructure diagrams and specifications
- Education requirement of a BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other equivalent education.

- Working knowledge of state and federal laws, procurement, budget, human resources, payroll laws and processes, administrative practices and procedures
