Location: Clayton, NC (Onsite)

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday (Flexible start time between 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Supply Chain Planning Engineer to support demand–capacity alignment and supplier performance across a complex manufacturing supply network. This role focuses on capacity planning, data-driven analysis, supplier collaboration, and continuous improvement to ensure stable operations and a resilient end-to-end supply chain.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, supply chain engineering experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and a global supplier base.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
Preferred Education
MBA or advanced business degree
Preferred Certification
Lean Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Required Skills & Experience
3 years of experience in supply chain planning, engineering, or related roles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Demonstrated leadership and influence skills
Ability to manage relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
Experience with:
Capacity planning processes
Network Planning & Execution (NPE) demand expertise
Supplier collaboration and performance management
Knowledge of Lean methodology and structured problem-solving tools
Understanding of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
Solid knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics processes, and planning tools
Experience with Value Stream Mapping
Key Responsibilities
Lead identification and implementation of integrated supply chain solutions to improve performance and stability
Strengthen demand–capacity alignment through collaboration with Category Purchasing, suppliers, and internal teams
Apply industry benchmarks and capacity scenario modeling to support strategic sourcing decisions
Analyze supply chain data to identify improvement opportunities and optimize inventory utilization
Support demand and capacity management using:
Network Planning & Execution (NPE) tools
Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP)
Supplier capacity collaboration tools
Lead supplier performance routines, including:
Monthly performance reviews
Structured problem solving
Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) for capacity issues
Build strong internal and external partnerships to support continuous improvement initiatives
Investigate and apply best practices, metrics, and benchmarks to improve supplier and product-set performance
Drive development of cost-effective, resilient, and scalable supply chain networks
