Students in the ELL program come from a variety of backgrounds and have different English language learning needs. Students are divided into classes based on their level of English communicative ability and/or their progress through the ELL program. Job Duties: 1. Teach in-person ELL classes at the Ft. Lupton campus and/or Ft. Lupton outreach program. This can include both general adult language classes, as well as customized language courses in conjunction with other programs 2. Abide by program policies, procedures, and curriculum 3. Participate in meetings and other events as required Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a part/full-time basis. 1. A bachelor’s degree in a related field 2. Experience teaching ELL for a minimum of one year. Student teaching and volunteer teaching experience will be considered 3. Experience working with a diverse student population 4. Training in teaching ELL 5. Proven experience in delivery of high quality instruction to limited literacy and language populations Preferred Qualifications: 1. Master’s Degree in ELL or a related field OR a Master’s Degree and relevant experience 2. Current enrollment in a postgraduate degree program 2. Completion of a TESOL certificate program 3.
