Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automation strategies by defining standards, controls, and best practices across the organization
- Analyze manufacturing, maintenance, and quality operations to propose automation projects that improve safety, productivity, and reliability
- Provide expert guidance on new technologies and emerging automation trends to support process engineering initiatives
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance activities for electrical and control systems, ensuring system integrity and uptime
- Oversee automation projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions that improve productivity and reduce operational risk
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Engineering, or related field with extensive industry experience
- Minimum of ten years’ experience in instrumentation and controls, including PLC programming and motor control centers
- Technical proficiency controls programming software applications, such as RSLogix, Siemens, Schneider
- Proven leadership in automation and controls, with a track record of successful project delivery
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders and guiding technical teams
