Production Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient material flow and optimal material utilization throughout operations.
• Foster positive working relationships among employees, management, and self by addressing personnel issues, enforcing company policies, safety regulations, and participating in the hiring and onboarding of new employees.
• Train, assign, and instruct employees on proper use of machines, tools, and job requirements.
• Support cost-of-goods objectives by identifying, reporting, and correcting issues that contribute to cost overruns.
• Plan and oversee production across departments in accordance with scheduled ship dates and product specifications, maximizing productivity and quality while ensuring a safe work environment.
• Promote a “No Lost Time” accident culture and ensure all required safety training is completed and maintained.
• Provide employees with efficient tools, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform their work effectively.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to schedule work and promptly communicate any potential delays.
• Lead by example while promoting teamwork and accountability across the department and plant.
• Assist in maintaining adequate inventory levels of raw materials.
• Minimize production downtime through proactive planning and issue resolution.
• Ensure production and quality reports are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
• Review employee timecards daily to ensure accurate hour allocation and payroll processing.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization throughout the facility.
• Support proper equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliable operation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing operation.
• Basic Mechanical Skills.
• Ability to mentor production associates.
