Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in Java/Spring Boot to architect reactive services and deploy next‑generation applications across Kubernetes environments.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer Job Responsibilities Include

• Design and develop highly scalable, fault‑tolerant, reactive microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Scala, Go, and associated frameworks such as Apache Camel.
• Build and deploy next‑generation microservices within Kubernetes environments across cloud platforms including GCP and Azure.
• Architect distributed, cloud‑native solutions with a strong focus on performance tuning, multithreading, networking, and high availability.
• Implement rigorous software engineering practices including unit testing (JUnit, Mockito), code reviews, documentation, and standards‑based code structuring.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, Cassandra, Cosmos DB) to design and optimize data‑driven application architectures.
• Collaborate with global, cross‑functional engineering teams to innovate, enhance, and deliver modern microservices aligned with enterprise technology strategy.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6–8 years of experience in building scalable, cloud‑native microservices and distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in Java/Spring Boot development with hands‑on experience deploying applications on Kubernetes across Azure or GCP.
• Proven ability to design high‑performance, fault‑tolerant architectures and work with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
