About the Role:
We are seeking a Field Administrative Assistant to support our Data Center Division. This role provides daily administrative support to field project teams on site and plays a key role in onboarding new field employees, managing payroll, and maintaining jobsite administrative functions. The position reports to the Field Administrative Supervisor and works closely with the Site Superintendent and General Foremen. Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the onboarding process for field new hires, including interviews, onboarding videos, and paperwork.
- Enter and distribute weekly payroll for the jobsite.
- Audit and resolve payroll discrepancies for jobsite crew.
- Provide general administrative support to the on-site project team.
- Assist with on-site material ordering.
- Create panel schedules and trim plate labels from approved drawings.
- Support the flow of information between the office, field, vendors, and customers.
- Prepare and maintain task plans, binders, and safety/daily reports.
- Maintain jobsite administrative tasks such as:
- Filing and organizing job files
- Managing phone and email communications
- Coordinating IT support issues
- Ordering office supplies
- Trailer housekeeping
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Visio, Word)
- Some travel may be required
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- College degree preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar administrative role required
- Experience in the construction industry preferred
