Alpitronic, a leader in electric vehicle (EV) charging technology, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Application Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting our truck/bus application customers and ensuring the successful deployment of our cutting-edge EV charging solutions. Specifically, the candidate will, together with the sales department, support customers in the selection and planning of charging infrastructure projects to find the optimal solution. In addition, the candidate will take part in interoperability testing activities to ensure compatibility between our products and relevant vehicles in the market.

The Application Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting our truck/bus application customers and ensuring the successful deployment of our cutting-edge EV charging solutions. Specifically, the candidate will, together with the sales department, support customers in the selection and planning of charging infrastructure projects to find the optimal solution. In addition, the candidate will take part in interoperability testing activities to ensure compatibility between our products and relevant vehicles in the market.
Responsibilities
- Processing technical customer inquiries as an interface to the Alpitronic research & development department
- Conducting regular customer calls to coordinate technical content and clarify technical issues
- Providing technical advice to customers and project managers
- Customer coordination for the further development of the various products
- Ensuring details are documented appropriately
- Processing and supporting the completion of RFI (Requests for Information) and the technical part of proposals
- Degree in a technical field, preferably electrical engineering, or electronics
- 3 years of professional experience in a similar position
- Experience with B2B customer contact
- Familiar with the language of international standards and regulations
- Ability to translate R&D responses into value-adding customer documents
- Experience or a strong interest in the commercial vehicle industry
