Job Description
JOB TITLE: CNC Operator
DEPARTMENT: Foam
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor
SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the CNC Operator is responsible for programing and efficient operation of the CNC router equipment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct visual inspection of CNC router and make preventative maintenance adjustments such as cleaning filters, and tool setup.
- Programs router according to job specifications.
- Count and report rejected parts (notify supervisor)
- Clean and maintain work area
- Monitors the performance of CNC Routers and reports any issues
- Perform any other duties requested by Production Supervisor
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Ability to read basic instructions and manuals
- Basic familiarity operating a computer
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work collaboratively with among departments
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with strict deadlines
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
- Ability to work in a production environment using PPE
Minimum requirements
- One year of production experience
- Basic computer skills
