What are the responsibilities and job description for the Padder Day position at American Leather Operations LLC?
American Leather is an established, stable company with a 30-year history of success. An industry leader in luxury furniture innovation and superb customer service, we are seeking a Woodshop Padder- to join our Woodshop Department.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives frames from the framing area
- Ensures frame label and foam label match
- Attaches soft padding and foam to frames ensuring all areas are covered
- Operates hand tools such as staple guns, and spray guns
- Counts and reports rejected foam (notify assistant supervisor)
- Conducts quality check to finished frame
- Clean and maintain work area
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Flexibility to work various parts based on production demands
- Ability to work collaboratively among all departments
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a non-conditioned work environment
- Ability to work with strict deadlines
- Ability to work in a production environment using safety equipment including
- Protective eyewear, ear plugs and safety gloves and masks as required
