Description
American Traveler is seeking a CVOR Surgical Technologist with at least two years of recent cardiovascular experience and current BLS certification.
Details
- Work in an operating and recovery room supporting cardiovascular surgery cases
- Day shift position from 07:00 to 15:30 with 8-hour shifts
- 13-week contract assignment
- 36/48 hour weekly rotation with alternating weekly scheduling
- On-call required during assignment
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of current and previous relevant cardiovascular experience
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Must hold either NCCT or AST surgical technologist certification
- Experience with fresh open heart procedures required
- Active Kentucky or compact state license required if applicable
- Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

- Responsibilities include scrubbing and assisting on cardiovascular cases, with specific fresh heart experience required
- No local candidates will be considered due to the 100-mile radius rule
- Bi-weekly orientation is provided for new travelers
- Travel pairs are not permitted unless there are multiple open needs
