Tasting Room Supervisor

Starting Rate of pay: $27.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with guests in a friendly, professional and attentive manner
• Assigns workstations to staff and expedites workflow
• Identifies and resolves any issues which may occur during the shift
• Helps maintain Tasting Room merchandising to standard, ensures proper facing, filling and rotation
• Refreshes and refills all promotional materials as needed
• Supports the manager with new product/menu launches
• Monitors inventory and orders product as needed
• Assists with end of the month inventory
• Helps train staff on POS, job duties, department policies and procedures, new products and menus
• Creates and implements sales goals and contests for staff
• Monitors staff performance and provides feedback and coaching as needed
• Counts and reconciles cash drawers during shift and end of day
• Correctly competes all required paperwork
• Ensures compliance with Washington State Liquor control guidelines, monitors guest alcohol consumption and assists with guest cut-offs as needed
• Follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines and ensures best practices by staff
• Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Exceptional guest service skills required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Two (2) years of Food and Beverage experience required
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of experience and training
• Previous casino experience preferred
• Must be customer service oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Ability to work in a challenging environment dealing with sensitive issues and maintain confidentially with strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain professional, courteous, and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside business contacts.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Health Card (Food Worker Card).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) Class 12 Mixologist Permit.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement daily with sedentary work, occasional bending and crouching. There are no adverse conditions, but employee is exposed to tobacco smoke on a regular basis. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.
