About AKABA:

We provide ABA services within our center, client homes and communities to individuals ages 2-22 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Our Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) work with the ABA Therapists/Technicians to implement interventions that help our clients cultivate functional behaviors in a variety of settings by enhancing communication skills and teaching strategies for self-regulation.

Overview of Behavior Technician role:
Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician provides 1-to-1 Applied Behavioral Analysis services to children diagnosed with Autism (ASD). Most ABA Therapy sessions usually run 3-4 hours and are held 3-5 times per week. Sessions primarily take place during after school hours and can be held in the client's home, Community, and/or at our Center. Our team focuses on assigning cases as locally as possible (usually within 30 minutes) to your home address or regular school/other work location. Travel time pay and mileage reimbursements are available (when applicable).
*Must be able to work 2- 3 days per week for at least 10 hours
*Some Saturday availability is preferred but not required.
*Sessions are primarily weekday afternoons for 3-4 hours between 3-8:00PM
*Must have Reliable transportation
*High School diploma or equivalent is required
Behavior Technician Job Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst

- Submitting all required paperwork in a timely manner

- Implementing individualized behavior support plans

Behavior Technician Qualifications
