Direct Support Professional (DSP) Success Coach
In this new role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with newly hired Direct Support staff, ensuring they successfully acclimate into their new positions at Arc of Onondaga. Over their first few months of employment, you will continue to assist in the development of new employees by providing individualized, on-site training, support and guidance to new staff in their work setting. Become an asset to Arc of Onondaga's training team, providing support in orientation classes and ensuring necessary trainings are completed. You will also directly assist front line supervisors in assessing training needs and providing additional training as needed. Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid NYS Driver's License
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
- NADSP certification (level 3 preferred)
- Combination of education and experience which, in the judgement of the employer equals above standards
