JOB PURPOSE

Accurately create templates that are used to mass-produce furniture with freehand techniques.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Accurately create templates for furniture by hand.
• Modify or correct current patterns to fit production/sales needs.
• Meet goals and deadlines in a timely manner.
• Work closely with Product Development and sales team to design new styles.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager

Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Pattern-making experience.

Preferred Experience Requirements

Experience in furniture manufacturing hand pattern making,

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Must be able to read and interpret design models and blueprints.
• Must be able to accurately measure and cut patterns in the material desired.
• Must have good vision.
• Must have excellent fine motor skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to work safely with a variety of hand and power tools.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must be able to communicate with various members of management.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Must be able to stand/walk for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime.
• Must be reliable.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be able to wear required safety PPE such as safety glasses and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes.
• Must be able to adhere to all safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.
