What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Estimator position at Ascendion?
We are a growing construction company, specializing in earthwork which includes; dirt work, pipe and utilities. We are looking for an experienced Estimator, with previous dirt work, pipe and utility experience.
Requirements :
4 years of experience
Previous experience estimating with dirt work, pipe and utilities
Experience working independently, as well within a team
Responsibilities :
Assemble accurate and well organized estimates and proposals in a timely manner.
Provide clear detailed quantity take offs
Organize sub-contractors quotations, negotiate to ensure quotes meet contract documents and issue proper documented purchase orders
Take notes from management team on alterations to the bid, revise, review, and continually improve accuracy of information as bid date approaches
Maintain relationships with subcontractors and clients
