Medication Technician - Highland, NY
Highland assisted living facility seeking medication technician(s) to administer medication to residents in accordance with state regulations. Prior experience is a plus, on job training offered.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Prefer previous experience on medication administration in Adult Care Facility or ALP setting
- Knowledge of assisted living/ACF DOH Regulations
- Must be able to follow direction and protocol after training
- Highly organized, and attention to details
- Knowledge of Compucare & MedWiz is a plus
Job Responsibilities:
- Treating every Resident with respect
- Distribution of medication as prescribed
- Comprehensive understanding of MAR
- Properly documenting as per your training
- Informing Supervisor of any issues found with the medications
- Ordering and putting away medications
- Proper refilling of regular and narcotics medications
- Other duties as needed
Covid-19 vaccination required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
