Position Summary
We’re currently looking for a Material Handler to support our operations during the weekend AM shift. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the efficient and accurate movement, storage, and control of materials to support uninterrupted production.
Shift: F Shift – Weekend AM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 12-hour shifts)
Location: Berea, KY
Key Responsibilities
Use packing lists, production schedules, receiving reports, and inventory systems to receive, store, and issue materials
Track and maintain accurate inventory using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) rotation principles
Perform regular cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
Monitor material availability and report potential shortages
Coordinate the release and delivery of materials, finished goods, and reworks to internal departments and external partners
Ensure all inventory transactions are accompanied by correct documentation
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
Support team members with training, guidance, or task coverage as directed by the supervisor
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 1 year of warehouse or inventory experience preferred
Forklift operation experience a plus (certification preferred)
Basic computer and data entry skills required
Ability to consistently lift and move up to 40 lbs; occasionally up to 75 lbs
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Physical Requirements
Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and handling of materials
Regular lifting/moving of items up to 40 lbs; occasional lifting up to 75 lbs
Must be able to safely operate handling equipment and navigate warehouse areas
Work Environment
Warehouse and production floor environment
Exposure to moving mechanical equipment and varying noise levels
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required in designated areas
