Position Summary
The Senior Accountant will support the financial management functions of Auto Driveaway. This individual will be responsible for the preparation of financial reports, analysis of data, and preparation of financial statements. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for the preparation of budgets and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be able to work with a variety of software including QuickBooks, Sage, and Excel.
Essential Job Functions
·Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements.
·Prepare budgets and forecasts.
·Assist with month-end closing activities including reconciliation to bank, credit card, and other vendors.

·Provide support for month-end close activities including reconciliation to bank, credit card, and other vendors.
·Performs other related duties as needed or requested by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s degree preferred. Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks or Sage software required (preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills required (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office required (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Must be willing to learn new software programs quickly and adapt quickly to new software programs as needed or desired by company.
