*This position is is fully on-site in the West Loop
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts
- Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
- Responsible for reviewing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Enter customer payments and prepare bank deposits
- Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
- Review and file payroll documents
- Serve as lead on quarterly and annual audits
- Other ad-hoc duties as needed
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required
- 3 years of full cycle accounting experience including leading month-end close
- Demonstrated understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and internal controls
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of Excel
Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
