Job Title: Construction Project Administrator
This role supports the smooth execution of construction projects by managing documentation, procurement tasks, safety coordination, and administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Financial Support
- Create and track purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Assist with accruals, forecasting, budget tracking, and invoice approvals.
- Coordinate vendor onboarding and request quotes as needed.
- Maintain logs for rental equipment, radios, and timesheets.
Document & Drawing Control
- Track revisions, approvals, and distribution of engineering files.
- Coordinate with external engineering firms for updates.
- Ensure compliance with document management procedures.
Safety Coordination
- Verify contractor qualifications and training records.
- Track safety orientation completion and conduct sessions for new contractors.
- Submit safety exception forms and assist in compliance.
Logistics & Receiving
- Maintain delivery schedules and coordinate shipment receipt and equipment storage.
Administrative Support
- Schedule meetings, record and distribute minutes.
- Track vendor action items and maintain office supplies.
