TITLE: Payroll Analyst
LOCATION: Seattle, WA (HYBRID!)
TYPE: Contract (18-24 months)
PAY: $45 - $55/hr

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Payroll Analyst for a large lumber company! This role would support an integration project focused on analyzing and implementing new business processes for a successful implementation.
- Execute detailed data validations to ensure accurate payroll information for system conversion.
- Conduct comprehensive business process analyses to support the design and implementation of payroll solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and improve system efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with US and Canadian labor and employment wage regulations.
- Provide expertise on payroll tax regulations and garnishment processing.
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans for payroll system implementations.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Accounting, or related field
- CPP Certification preferred, or equivalent experience proving advanced payroll compliance knowledge
- 3-5 years of payroll experience including multi-state payroll, payroll tax, and garnishment administration
- Maintains knowledge of current HR and Payroll regulations
- Previous experience with UKG required
- Advanced knowledge of complex gross to net payroll check calculations
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Advanced Excel skills in addition to proficiency in other Microsoft Office products
