Job Overview:
The Cleaner is responsible for the regular upkeep of the theatre location, ensuring a clean, tidy, and sanitary environment for all employees and guests. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including but not limited to, cleaning auditoriums, restrooms, and common areas, as well as trash removal and spill cleanup. Cleaners are expected to work efficiently with minimal supervision and maintain a stock of cleaning supplies.
Hours: This position may require working during non-operating hours (after closing or before opening) to maintain public areas. This job requires you to work during the evening, on weekends, and occasionally on holidays.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the building through routine cleaning procedures.

Ensure all auditoriums are thoroughly cleaned and prepared for guest occupancy.

Perform floor care duties, including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.

Maintain cleanliness and adequate stocking of restroom facilities.

Secure all the building access points by ensuring doors are locked after operating hours.

Address spills promptly and effectively using appropriate equipment and supplies.

Report any requirements for major repairs to the facility manager.

Collect and dispose of waste materials in accordance with established procedures.

Execute assigned tasks efficiently and independently within established timelines.

Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of cleaning supplies.

Perform additional duties as directed by management.
Qualifications
General Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old at the time of hire.

Demonstrated ability to notice small details.

Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Willingness to learn and apply basic cleaning methods and the safe use of cleaning products.
