Responsibilities
Performs diagnostic examinations and therapeutic procedures utilizing radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of physicians licensed to possess and use radioactive materials.
Qualifications
Requirements:
· Licensed under the California Radiologic Health Branch in Nuclear Medicine (RG-RHNM) and BLS required.
· Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications.
Preferred Skills:
· 2 years Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
· ARRT and/or NMTCB preferred.
Special Skills:
· Ability to read an interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
· Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
· Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and how to draw and interpret a bar graph.
· Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents and logarithms.
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
Salary : $53 - $62
