Part-Time Job Opportunity:
JOB SUMMARY: The Cashier is responsible for managing the cash flow at either the pool counter or at the concessions stand. Other responsibilities include:
- Welcome and assist the guests that come to use the facility.
- Check passes, take in daily fees, and make change from cash received.
- Accept cash, check or bank cards for payment of programs and services, making change accurately, bank out daily and balance daily.
- At the Concession Area, ensure that it is clean and as free from clutter as possible, at all times.
- Prepare food products under the guidelines of the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and the DuPage County Health Department.
- Sanitize food preparation equipment under the aforementioned guidelines.
- Provide inventory control and notify the Concessions Stand Supervisor in the event of missing or spoiled inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a minimum of 16 years of age. Current Food Handler License or able to obtain. Must have strong people and customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and the public. The position requires strong basic math skills.
SCHEDULE & PAY: Various hours are available. Starting pay rate is $14.00 per hour. Plus applicable facility and program discounts.
