Job Description: CENTRALIZED SCHEDULING REPRESENTATIVE Springfield, Missouri Centralized Scheduling Representatives work in an office / call center environment answering calls for first time clients in order to schedule outpatient and psychiatric services. They are a vital part of the organization and deliver the first impression our clients receive of Burrell. This is a full-time position with benefits. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm shifts may be available. $15/hour. Job duties: Answer all Referral Office calls; disburse calls to appropriate staff as needed. Screen all customer contacts for service need up to and including crisis, process calls accordingly. Scheduling customers for their first-time appointment for Outpatient and Psychiatric Services. Check availability for Initial Visits, Rafins, and Intra-Agency Requests for Concurrent Services for Outpatient and Psychiatric providers in the Southwest Region. Maintain appointment system and schedule clients appropriately. Perform all clerical tasks related to functioning of the office: sending appointment letters, appointment reminders, filing, reports, activity logs, entry of information into tracking systems and timely updates the tracking systems accordingly. Staff will use various websites and software systems to verify client insurance eligibility and referral sources. Abide by HIPAA guidelines at all times when dealing with customers and co-workers. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Prior customer service, call center, or medical scheduling experience. A friendly Customer Service mindset and approach Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills Ability to work with computers Ability to work independently Excellent typing skills Able to establish effective relationships via telephone and personal contacts.
