What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housing Liaison position at BBH Burrell Behavioral Health?
Job Description: As a Housing Outreach Liaison, you'll be responsible for: Practicing Housing First, Harm Reduction, and other low-barrier service delivery models to address housing crises and promote long-term stability Actively outreaching to individuals who are not currently engaged in Coordinated Entry/Case Conferencing services, but are experiencing homelessness or housing instability Building relationships with local landlords and property managers to expand the availability of affordable housing options Providing navigation and support services to help individuals access employment, behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, physical health, and other essential resources Collaborating with Continuum of Care programs to receive referrals and ensure seamless transitions for individuals accessing housing services Assisting with the SOAR (SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access, and Recovery) process and providing ongoing support to individuals throughout their journey towards stable housing Empowering individuals to achieve self-sufficiency by meeting with them regularly, evaluating their progress, and connecting them with appropriate community resources Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social work, or other related human service specialized fields of study, including a BHS degree from an accredited institution OR 3 years of relevant case management experience in housing Must have valid Driver’s License. Must use personal vehicle for transportation of consumers/clients. Must have auto liability insurance including uninsured motorist coverage.
