- Create a positive work environment and promote a culture that supports clinician and staff engagement activities. ">
- Conduct schedule preparation for patients, ensuring all paperwork and documentation are complete, credit cards are up-to-date, demographics are accurate, and patient charts are prepared. ">
- General office duties, including sorting mail, scanning documents, e-faxes, shared office email, and office upkeep, to ensure the practice is running smoothly and prepared for patients and clinicians. ">
- Communicate effectively with peers, clinicians, and patients to support patient care and clinician satisfaction. ">
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to patient needs, and managing potentially difficult or sensitive situations. ">
- Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting and checking patients in/out, and provide support to patients with requests via phone, email, and portal. ">
- Assist patients with telehealth access, Patient Portal issues, and other troubleshooting as needed. ">
- Collect in-person and telehealth co-payments and account balances at the time of service. ">
- Complete insurance eligibility verification and address any issues with patients. ">
- Support clinicians with administrative tasks, such as sending letters and faxes, and coordinate with them regarding patient questions. ">
Requirements:

- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties to deliver high-quality patient experiences. ">
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. ">
- Proficiency in using computer software applications (Microsoft Office & EMRs). ">
- Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information (HIPAA). ">
- High school or equivalent required, associates/bachelor's degree preferred. ">
- 1 year of experience in healthcare operations, customer service, or a similar role or setting preferred. ">
