Responsibilities:

    ">
  • Create a positive work environment and promote a culture that supports clinician and staff engagement activities.
  • ">
  • Conduct schedule preparation for patients, ensuring all paperwork and documentation are complete, credit cards are up-to-date, demographics are accurate, and patient charts are prepared.
  • ">
  • General office duties, including sorting mail, scanning documents, e-faxes, shared office email, and office upkeep, to ensure the practice is running smoothly and prepared for patients and clinicians.
  • ">
  • Communicate effectively with peers, clinicians, and patients to support patient care and clinician satisfaction.
  • ">
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to patient needs, and managing potentially difficult or sensitive situations.
  • ">
  • Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting and checking patients in/out, and provide support to patients with requests via phone, email, and portal.
  • ">
  • Assist patients with telehealth access, Patient Portal issues, and other troubleshooting as needed.
  • ">
  • Collect in-person and telehealth co-payments and account balances at the time of service.
  • ">
  • Complete insurance eligibility verification and address any issues with patients.
  • ">
  • Support clinicians with administrative tasks, such as sending letters and faxes, and coordinate with them regarding patient questions.

Requirements:

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties to deliver high-quality patient experiences.
  • ">
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • ">
  • Proficiency in using computer software applications (Microsoft Office & EMRs).
  • ">
  • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information (HIPAA).
  • ">
  • High school or equivalent required, associates/bachelor's degree preferred.
  • ">
  • 1 year of experience in healthcare operations, customer service, or a similar role or setting preferred.
  • ">
