We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our community at Commons at Oak Grove.
This is a full-time position that will perform maintenance functions in the residential community, including rental units, common areas, office, grounds and parking lots.
The ideal candidate will have a diversified base of knowledge and skills needed to maintain the property to satisfy ownership and management objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose and make repairs in various areas such as appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
- Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating procedures.
- Perform maintenance service orders associated with preventive maintenance programs, building and safety inspections, and annual unit inspections.
- Maintain grounds and curb appeal through landscaping and trash management activities.
- Be available for on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies based on a predetermined schedule and need.
Requirements include:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in residential maintenance.
- General knowledge of electrical and plumbing.
- Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people and personalities.
Preferred qualifications include vocational or technical training and CAMT certification.
