Medical-Surgical Nurse Position Overview

This role plays a vital part in coordinating comprehensive nursing care for patients. The successful candidate will participate in patient and family education, act as a patient advocate, and work collaboratively with ancillary and non-nursing departments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

• Assess the patient's condition and determine individualized nursing care requirements.
• Develop and implement evidence-based nursing care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Evaluate patient care results and make necessary adjustments to improve overall quality of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless care coordination.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to established protocols and physician orders.

The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, be able to function effectively under pressure while maintaining a calm and customer-focused demeanor. A current Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire are mandatory prerequisites for this position.
