Primary Care Physician Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team in a rural, underserved community. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and contribute to the advancement of healthcare in our region.
About the Role
This position involves providing primary care services to approximately 7,000 people from Hopi and Navajo tribes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a panel of patients, conducting regular check-ups, and providing preventive care. You will also have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience in inpatient and outpatient medical settings, with a strong background in family practice or internal medicine. They will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care.
Job Requirements
- Recent inpatient and outpatient medical experience
- Board certification in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
- Active unrestricted license and DEA from any state or US territory
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Annual PPD or Chest X-ray (for tuberculosis), Documentation of MMR, varicella & Hepatitis B, influenza, and COVID vaccinations within the last year
